Create a flower design on a wool background by needle felting. It's like painting with wool. Needle felting (also known as dry felting) uses special barbed needles that intermingle fibers from the top and bottom surfaces of your felting project, locking them together to form a dense matted surface. Needle felting can be used to create flat designs or three dimensional shapes. Jill Reed will teach us how to make a two dimensional flower design using wool roving and felt it onto a flat wool background. You can either frame your design or create a rustic wall hanging. You can choose your own colors to work with. No experience is required. Instruction and all materials supplied.
