This is a first edition of Recipes Mother Used to Make, published in 1952 by Peter Pauper Press in Mount Vernon, New York. Edna Beilenson, who compiled the recipes for this volume, produced a series of cookbooks for Peter Pauper Press in the 1950s. Known for their charming designs and illustrations, these little volumes are now highly collectible. Edna's husband, Peter Beilenson, founded the Press in Larchmont, New York, in 1928. This volume was illustrated by Vee Guthrie.
