It is also an intimate autobiography of Margaret Rudkin, who raised three children, managed three homes, and developed a multi-million dollar business. Finally, it is a treasury of early recipes from Mrs. Rudkin’s collection of antique cookbooks, which she updated for modern cooks. It was the first cookbook ever to make the bestseller list of The New York Times.
